Away from your farm, there’s a mine to explore where you have to work through a variety of levels to get deeper and unearth better and rarer resources. There’s a shrine to donate bundles of resources to in order to unlock new features. Each season offers a unique festival experience to attend, including the Spring potluck. Every day ends with a tally of how much money you’ve made and how – farming, foraging, ranching etc – and you can level up your abilities like fishing and bug catching simply by doing them. There’s an entire town of people to befriend, and even romance, by giving daily gifts. You can watch TV in your house to get weather forecasts or get farming tips.
As the new space farmer in town, you’ll need to turn native space plants into an agricultural operation. Both can be turned into the strongest and most efficient specimens with Verdant Skies’ genetic combiner machine. Instead of a small town in the country, Verdant Skies has you become the newest member of a small colony on the planet Viridis Primus. The colony is small to begin with but after helping build more homes you’ll be joined by more residents each with their own expertise to help grow the colony and your operation. ’s signature pixel style, though you’ll have to wait a bit longer if you want romance events.
This is a simple game that can get a bit difficult if the fish is a higher level. You’ll notice a fish icon that rises and lowers on a bar with a green square (“fishing bar”) that you can move. To the right of this bar is another one that fills up; once it is filled all the way, the fish is yours. The key to filling it up is to keep the green square around the fish for as long as it takes. You want the fish to always be within that green area; if it’s not, your line will continuously break until you can get it back on there.
